The Chérrie Ritual

The Art of Hair Rituals.

For centuries, beauty was never rushed.
It was tended to slowly, lovingly, and with patience.
The Chérrie Ritual is a modern return to those traditions, a daily act of devotion designed to soften, nourish, and celebrate your natural hair.

Awaken

the scalp awakening

Scalp massage has long been part of hair care, awakening the scalp before the hair is tended to.

Before you begin using your hair oil, using the balls of your fingertips, gently massage the scalp in small, slow movements, working from the hairline towards the crown. Stretch your neck gently from side to side and take your time here.

Anoint

the daily oil ritual

For thousands of years, hair oiling has been a cherished ritual, passed down through generations to nourish, soften and protect the hair.

Warm a few drops between your palms and work the oil through the mid lengths of the hair, giving particular attention to the ends.

Comb

Comb

the art of grooming

For generations, the comb and brush have been more than tools for detangling. Brushing was a daily ritual, helping to distribute the hair's natural oils from the scalp through the lengths, detangle and nurture the hair.

Begin at the ends, gently working through any tangles before moving higher up the lengths. Slowly brush from root to tip, allowing the bristles to carry the oil through each strand, leaving the hair smooth, soft and beautifully conditioned.

An ancient practice of keeping the hair well tended.

Veil

Veil

the act of preservation

Across generations and cultures, hair has been braided, twisted and gently gathered as an act of care, protecting its lengths while preserving its natural beauty.

Before bed, and whenever possible throughout the day, loosely braid, twist or gather your hair into a protective style, keeping the ends tucked away where possible.

This is one of the most overlooked secrets to retaining long, healthy hair.

Infuse

Infuse

the weekly oil treatment

Scalp oiling is an ancient practice dating back thousands of years, used to help support hair growth and nourish the scalp.

Once a week, massage a small amount into the scalp using the balls of your fingertips. Work the remaining oil through the lengths and down to the ends, then gently brush it through.

Leave in for 1–4 hours before cleansing,

A Note on Ritual

When we are intentional and present in what we do, that intention has a way of staying with us throughout the week. The way you brush your hair, the way you care for it, and the small moments of consistency you give it all play a big role in your hair health over time.

So much of our lives are spent rushing from one thing to the next. Let this ritual be an invitation to slow down, be present, and reconnect with the simple act of caring for your hair. Because beautiful hair is rarely the result of a single treatment, but of a ritual returned to again and again.
